St Francis of Assisi recently blessed Diego at a ceremony atended by Pope Benedict, afterwards they both asked for his paw print. Diego graduated from the prestigious Full Circle Obedience School, where he was voted as the "Dog most likely to succeed." He recently learned to not potty in the house, which was quite an achievement for a 6 month old puppy. He is currently working on his Masters of Obedience, Majoring in Scratching with a Minor in Biting. He hopes to complete his degree in the spring of 2011 then enroll at Oklahoma University to obtain his PHD in Animal Husbandry. He was quoted as saying that, "I owe all of my success to my mama, Rosa, who took me to my first obedience class, which was the beginning of my educational achievements." He said that after he graduates from OU, he will use his talents to improve the lot of dogs everywhere and that he believes
"All animals are created equal."
